Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to support our Lead Homewares Buyer in all day-to-day buying activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Buyer in the ordering, logging, and returning of samples from suppliers.
- Manage the organization of samples for selection, range reviews, and shoots.
- Accurately log all samples on selection spreadsheets.
- Manage sample invoices, process these, and raise debit notes as required.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
- Office-based administrative experience.
- A confident and articulate phone manner.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A full driving licence and own car.
