About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK - Basingstoke Base. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation to patients in need of mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from various locations, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transportation, promoting a positive and calming environment.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and transportation.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate within the last 3 years (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure while delivering genuine care.
  • Demonstrate resilience and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
