Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead in Ophthalmology to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing clinical expertise and patient care in the Medical Retinal Service and Accident and Emergency Department.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. They will also contribute to teaching and training junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • MEDICAL QUALIFICATION: MBBS or equivalent, at least 4 years' training in ophthalmology
  • EXPERIENCE: At least 6 years' experience in ophthalmology, including leadership and management roles
  • ROYAL COLLEGE OF OPHTHALMOLOGISTS ST4 COMPETENCIES: Achieved or equivalent
  • PUBLICATIONS: In ophthalmology
  • LANGUAGE: Able to speak and write English to the appropriate standard necessary to fulfill the job requirements

Salary: £51,000 - £73,387 per annum plus London weighting allowance
