Opportunity to Thrive in a Dynamic Ophthalmology Department

This exciting role presents the chance for a skilled Clinical Fellow Ophthalmologist with an interest in Cataract to join our esteemed team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Based at Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe General, and Amersham Hospitals, this 12-month position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in complex cataract cases, including pseudoexfoliation, short and long eyes, zonular dehiscence, post-trauma cases, and IOL exchange.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent surgical skills, able to comfortably operate independently with 8-10 cases on a list. Pre-op assessment clinics, primary care/emergency access clinics, and research opportunities are integral to this role. The successful applicant will also be encouraged to participate in clinical audit and have experience teaching junior trainees.
