Automotive Claims Specialist

Hireful is seeking a skilled Automotive Claims Advisor to manage the process of claims from instruction through to finalisation and closure effectively. The ideal candidate will provide advice and support throughout claims to agents in a timely manner, ensuring legal obligations are met and insurer costs are minimised.
About the RoleThis dynamic and customer-focused role involves:
- Managing a portfolio of claims, adhering to all relevant policies, Standard Operating processes, regulatory and business service level agreements.
- Delivering exceptional service to customers, primarily by telephone and also via email & post.
- Undertaking detailed fact finds, paying great attention to detail, thereby highlighting any barriers which may prevent the claim from progressing.
- Accurately managing & calculating financial payment requisitions as part of the claim ensuring payments are made to the policy holder efficiently with relevant tracking & recording in place.
- Serve legal notices to the tenant tailored to their circumstances and in line with current legislation to regain possession of the property as efficiently as possible while managing and escalating any associated risks.
- Collaborate with Litigation Team and In House Solicitors to ensure that the legal service provided is robust, low risk and efficient.
- 3 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths
- Administrative and customer service experience
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
