The Role of the Inventory Optimization Specialist involves driving efficient and sustainable Marketplace growth through effective demand planning and inventory management for our European brands, ensuring a direct link between buy in and sell out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting, planning, and inventory management of the European Brand Portfolio with a focus on Seasonal & Promotional categories.
  • Driving alignment across commercial trading functions by building demand targets and inventory forecasts.
  • Using data, statistical models, and tools to maintain accurate stock and sales projections.
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities using trading levers such as swap and return negotiations, EOL MD management, and promotional planning.
  • Managing category intake, ordering, and selection processes to ensure optimum inventory health.
  • Working with brands to ensure order fulfilment and supply chain efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive operational excellence and innovation projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years in merchandising or planning role
  • Experience in Demand and Supply Chain Planning
  • In-depth understanding of merchandising and trading approach (RTW experience preferred)
  • Previous eCommerce experience
  • Commercial mindset considering customer and business needs
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Amazon retail platform experience

Salary and Benefits:

  • $70,000 - $90,000 per annum based on experience
  • 28 days holiday increasing to 32 with years of service
