Job Title: Head of Infrastructure and Services

About the Role:

Datahead is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our global infrastructure and service management team. As Head of Infrastructure and Services, you will be responsible for driving the global IT strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and transforming the IT function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business strategy into actionable IT strategy
  • Own and manage global IT service provision, including oversight of outsourced service desks and service management offices
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks and quality standards to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and legislative requirements
  • Lead the global strategy for all technology infrastructure components, including storage, telephony, networking, and connectivity
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure service delivery aligns with current and future business needs
  • Champion continuous improvement and drive transformative opportunities, balancing commercial ambition with rigorous cost management

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in IT leadership within a global, complex organization, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Strong background in technology delivery, infrastructure services, and service management
  • Exceptional organizational, people management, and leadership skills
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in budget management, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Proficient in managing multiple, complex projects with strong program management skills
  • Expertise in change management and fostering innovation within a team environment
