Job Title: Head of Digital Infrastructure

ZipRecruiter is seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded professional to lead our digital infrastructure team. As the Head of Digital Infrastructure, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective procurement and commercial relationships within the organization.

This is a leadership role that will join at the most senior level of our Commercial Team. You will be responsible for developing a mature commercial function aligned with our Corporate Procurement policies and processes, ensuring professional accountability and consistency.

The postholder will establish and manage a new commercial function within the team, acting as a bridge between the organization and the supply market to ensure best value. Responsibilities include expert-led supplier management, sourcing activities, and developing outcome-based commercial and contractual models.

Reporting to the Commercial Director – Digital, this role is part of the team's Commercial function, aligning with digital, technology, and sourcing strategies. Though based at the main office, the role involves collaboration across multiple locations, as agreed with the Chief Information Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing commercial/strategic procurement advice
  • Leading high-profile procurements
  • Driving cost improvement programs
  • Establishing sourcing procedures
  • Monitoring supplier performance
  • Providing advice on market testing and contracting activities
  • Delivering expert, high-quality, client-focused procurement services
  • Conducting audits, benchmarking, financial analysis, and modeling for ICT spend categories
  • Ensuring robust workplans and integrated planning across strategies
  • Supporting the implementation of purchasing policies and category sourcing strategies
  • Adhering to all organization policies and procedures

Requirements include expertise in ICT/Digital category strategies and procurement, leading complex procurement and category management projects, and knowledge of the organization's environment, strategy, and policy.
