">About the PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled Transport Network Officer to join our Road Safety team at the City of Edinburgh Council.
">Key Accountabilities- Design and implement road safety strategies to reduce accidents and improve journey times
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver projects and initiatives that enhance road safety and infrastructure
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and external partners on road safety best practices
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote road safety and efficiency
You will work closely with our team to deliver projects that align with our Road Safety Action Plan for Edinburgh 2030.
">Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in road safety, project development, and infrastructure design
- Strong understanding of traffic management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
Salary: £38,678 - £45,832 per annum (pro rata).
">We offer a hybrid working arrangement, with the office base at Waverley Court, next to Waverley Station.
