We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Traffic & Transportation Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in traffic and transportation engineering to lead and manage traffic and transportation projects from inception to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions, and mentoring junior engineers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage traffic and transportation projects
  • Develop and implement traffic management strategies and transportation plans
  • Conduct traffic impact assessments and feasibility studies
  • Design and review traffic and transportation infrastructure
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
  • Extensive experience in traffic and transportation engineering
  • Proficiency in traffic modeling software
  • Strong knowledge of traffic management and transportation planning principles

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
