Conveyancing Legal Secretary

Job Description:
A dedicated and highly skilled Conveyancing Legal Secretary is required to provide day-to-day support to the fee earners in our respected client's conveyancing team. This role involves preparing legal documents, general correspondence, and other tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will have excellent secretarial and communication skills, with a strong background in Family Law work history. Key responsibilities include preparing legal documents and general correspondence from dictation, typing of Financial Consent Orders, Forms E, and collating all documents referred to in financial proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing legal documents and general correspondence
- Typing of Financial Consent Orders
- Forms E and collating all documents referred to in financial proceedings
- Briefs to Counsel
- Collating papers to be sent with Brief
- Liaising with Counsel's clerk as to availability and progress
- Preparation of electronic court bundles
- Children Act proceedings, the typing of orders, preparing court bundles and liaising with clients in a sympathetic way
- Typing cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements and change of name deeds
- Taking telephone calls and relaying accurate messages
- Diary management and arranging appointments
- Monitoring deadlines in respect of client affairs
- Maintaining files and day-to-day administrative duties
- Maintaining and building successful relationships with clients and colleagues
Salary Information: The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
