We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to work with us at GSL Education in Bournemouth. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

This SEN Teaching Assistant position offers the ideal candidate the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where they can utilize their skills and experience to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. Key responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support to students with SEN, working closely with teachers to adapt lesson plans and create inclusive learning environments, and offering emotional guidance and coping strategies to help students develop essential life skills.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess CACHE Level 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance or Childcare, or equivalent experience. Prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar support role in a classroom or school setting is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with various Special Education Needs conditions, including autism and ADHD, is essential.
