Special Education Needs Teacher Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a thriving school in Boscombe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality, personalised teaching plans for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with professionals, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies, to create a multi-disciplinary approach to student development.
  • Provide assessments and reports to track the progress of students and adjust learning strategies as needed.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment where all students feel confident to express themselves and achieve their full potential.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to building an inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity and promotes equality.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a SEN Teacher who possesses qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working with students with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various types of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies.

They must be passionate about making a difference and improving the educational outcomes of students with SEN.

Able to work well as part of a team, the successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and adaptability.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,375 per annum, which is competitive for the location and industry.
