The University of Strathclyde seeks a highly skilled professional to support the development of its key research areas, with a focus on UK funding and the implementation of the University's 2030 Strategy.
The successful candidate will work closely with academic leaders to provide high-quality intelligence, guidance, and bidding assistance to academic staff, enabling them to secure research and knowledge exchange awards and income that align with the University's strategic goals.
This role involves participating in external networking, engaging with key funders, and facilitating collaboration with industry and other stakeholder partners.
The post holder will be an integral part of the Strategic Research & KE Team, contributing to the University's research and knowledge exchange objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of key research areas, with a focus on UK funding
- Provide high-quality intelligence, guidance, and bidding assistance to academic staff
- Participate in external networking and engagement with key funders
- Facilitate collaboration with industry and other stakeholder partners
- Contribute to the University's research and knowledge exchange objectives
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with academic staff, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
They will also have a strong understanding of research and knowledge exchange funding opportunities, as well as experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience is required.
