Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Planner to join our team at Glasgow City Council. As a key member of our Development Plan Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our city through the production of our new City Development Plan.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to focus on policy work around vacant and derelict land, using nature-based solutions to create climate-resilient places that support the regeneration of the city.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement policies to address vacant and derelict land
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the City Development Plan
  3. Conduct site analysis and research using place-based approaches
  4. Support the development of GIS skills and data analysis
