Ecology Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Ecology Team Lead to join our team at Navartis. As a key member of our ecology team, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing the skills of our ecology team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and support to ecology team members to help them achieve their professional development goals.
  2. Resource Management: Assist in managing the ecology team's resources, including workload tracking and recruitment needs.
  3. Industry Updates and Training: Share industry knowledge and updates with the ecology team, driving continued professional development and excellence.
  4. Innovation and Improvement: Collaborate with innovation teams to introduce new products and practices that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Technical Reporting and Review: Provide technical review and comment on ecology reports and deliverables, ensuring high-quality output.
  6. Ecological Survey Planning and Coordination: Identify, forecast, and resource ecological survey requirements, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery.
  7. Project Leadership: Lead ecological projects, providing advice and direction to ecology and environmental teams, design teams, and principal contractors to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Organize and coordinate meetings with local authority ecologists and other stakeholders as required.
  9. Engineering Integration: Attend engineering integration meetings and communicate key ecological requirements to ensure they are captured in preliminary and detailed design.
