Job Title: Reconciliation and Administration Assistant

Estimated Salary: £12,350 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week.

Location: St Albans area

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reconciliation Clerk to join our client's dynamic Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will provide full reconciliation support to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA's Conduct Rules and Principles. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong reconciliation and financial experience to contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring no overdrafts occur.
  • Manage cheque payments, including writing, monitoring uncleared items, and reissuing payments.
  • Input daily transfers and payments.
  • Provide support for the cashier function, including banking preparation and deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with client money regulations, data protection, and money laundering standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, processing bank reconciliations
  • Strong GCSE qualifications (A-C in English and Maths)
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge
  • High attention to detail
