Catering Support Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our catering team as a Catering Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food and beverage services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the catering team in the provision of all catering services, including covering and supporting other catering roles as required.
- Prepare and serve food in the restaurant, coffee shop, and hospitality/function services.
- Clean and maintain the catering department, including patient's crockery, cutlery, service utensils, food boxes, patient trays, and equipment.
- Ensure basic food hygiene standards are maintained and report any breaches to the relevant authorities.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Demonstrated previous work experience, paid or voluntary.
- Customer service and customer-focused awareness.
- Awareness of food hygiene and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and on own initiative.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude.
