We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our catering team as a Catering Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Support the catering team in the provision of all catering services, including covering and supporting other catering roles as required.
- Prepare and serve food in the restaurant, coffee shop, and hospitality/function services.
- Clean and maintain the catering department, including patient's crockery, cutlery, service utensils, food boxes, patient trays, and equipment.
- Ensure basic food hygiene standards are maintained and breaches are communicated appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Record accurate temperatures in line with food preparation and cooking procedures.
- Communicate and liaise with staff across the Trust.
We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service. You will have previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures. You will also be able to work effectively as part of a team and be flexible in your approach to work.
