Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team as a Lead Professional. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with service users, their families, and other agencies to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

Main Duties
  • Assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with complex emotional needs, including those with moderate to severe depression and anxiety.
  • Provide professional advice and support to other agencies and team members.
  • Act as a role model and resource for junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Registered qualification in Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy.
  • Membership of a professional body and adherence to their code of conduct and RDaSH trust policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of relevant frameworks, legislation, and policy.
  • Ability to organize and respond efficiently to complex information and complete high-level risk assessments and care planning.
