Legal Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our busy Commercial Property team at a leading Law firm in Malton/Pickering.
The ideal candidate will have previous legal admin/secretarial experience and excellent typing and MS office skills. They will be responsible for preparing correspondence and documents, filing, and maintaining an up-to-date diary for the Legal Adviser.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing correspondence and documents through audio and copy typing
- Filing and maintaining client files
- Preparing mail and enclosures for despatch
- Making appointments and arranging meetings
- Attending to clients and ensuring prompt response to telephone calls
- Responsible for opening files on the firm's case management system
- Copy typing of documents and amending complex documents
Person Specification:
- Excellent typing and MS office skills
- Previous legal admin/secretarial experience
- An interest in the legal environment
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Confident dealing with clients
