Job Title:

This is a unique opportunity for an Education Technology Infrastructure Manager to join our team at a Multi-Academy Trust. The successful candidate will oversee the entire IT infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and providing exceptional support to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the entire IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and outstanding performance.
  2. Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support to staff and students, resolving ICT system difficulties.
  3. User Account Management: Create and manage new student logon and email accounts.
  4. Security and Backup: Implement policies and procedures for security, backup, disaster recovery, and acceptable use.
  5. Network Administration: Manage, monitor, and maintain the school network, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
  6. Procurement and Inventory Management: Procure and manage IT equipment, cables, software, and consumables according to financial policy and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience with IT infrastructure management and technical support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7 and above) and Windows Server (2012 R2 and Above).
  • Understanding of Active Directory, File permissions, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Familiarity with Office365, Veeam, Hyper-V, and VMWare.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
