Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled driver to join our Bank Driver team, providing transportation services for GPs and nurses to and from patients' homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our clinicians and medical equipment, while also maintaining vehicles and communicating effectively with the public and our team back at base.

Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure the allocated shift car is prepared and serviced before each shift.
  2. To conduct regular vehicle checks, including external and internal inspections, and record any issues in the car log book.
  3. To allocate an unused drug cassette and record the number in the correct log.
  4. To enter information onto the car computer at the visiting doctor's request.
  5. To perform courtesy calls to patients to confirm arrival and patient data.

Requirements:

  • Driving experience with a full driving licence, good map reading skills, and knowledge of the local area.
  • Good communication skills, both in person and by telephone.
  • Basic IT skills for noting information such as itinerary checklists and time logs accurately.

Estimated Salary: £28,500 per annum, based on location and experience.
