We're seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our Sittingbourne Production Team as a Mobile Plant Operator. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our calcination and loading shovel equipment.

About the Role
  • Operate mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to strict clean-as-you-go policies and maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve a consistent approach to operations, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to the implementation of changes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of plant performance, reporting issues and concerns to the Calcination Lead Operator or maintenance team.
  • Provide clear and concise handover reports at the start and end of each shift, ensuring seamless communication and continuity.

  • Experience operating machinery, with a focus on efficiency and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of math and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze production plans and optimize efficiency.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office functions, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
