About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Solar Solution Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our renewable energy team, you will be responsible for carrying out feasibility assessments, solar resource assessments, and energy yield assessments. You will also support the techno-economic optimisation of solar projects, including solar PV system design and its impact on Balance of System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies to identify potential solar project sites
  • Perform solar resource assessments to determine the potential energy yield of solar projects
  • Support the design and optimisation of solar PV systems to ensure maximum energy output
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to discuss supplier options and negotiate contracts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and data analysis
  • Experience working on utility-scale solar PV projects, including system design and energy modelling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency in PVSyst or other PV simulation software
