The role of our Property Upkeep and Maintenance Coordinator:

Kido has grown significantly over the last 7 years, employing over 500 people in the UK across 17 locations. We're committed to quality at all times and strive to ensure that our properties meet the highest standards. As a key member of our property team, you will be responsible for providing a top-notch service across the entire network when it comes to resolving property issues and coordinating maintenance schedules.

You will work alongside our Handyperson and report directly to our Property Director. The property team takes care of our entire network, creating buildings where first impressions have a lasting impact. You will lead our facilities management, conduct regular property inspections, and ensure that our teams have the necessary tools to uphold our reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating maintenance works across multiple sites, balancing priorities according to urgency and budget
  • Conducting property inspections, logging issues, proposing schedules of work, and coordinating with our Property Director
  • Ensuring all nurseries are adequately supplied with stock and resources
  • Maintaining Health & Safety regulations adherence
  • Monitoring compliance services and inspections
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for maintenance issues, providing timely and professional communications throughout issue resolution
  • Collecting monthly metre readings from each site
  • Managing stakeholders, including nursery teams, Property Director, Handyperson, and external facilities contractors
  • Inspecting works carried out to ensure Kido standards are met

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license, use of personal vehicle, and business insurance

This role will be based in London, involving travel across our locations and occasional remote work. Some 'out-of-hours' work may be required to support nursery teams who operate 7am-7pm.
