Residential Youth Care Leadership Position

Job Summary:

SCR Recruitment Services Careers is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Residential Youth Care Leadership Position. This role requires a strong background in management, with experience in leading teams and ensuring the highest standards of care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential service, including staff management, budgeting, and compliance with relevant legislation. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to young people
  • Develop and implement effective operational plans to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children's Act 2010
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure efficient use of funds
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' experience in management, preferably in a residential youth care setting
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving Good/Outstanding ratings from Ofsted
  • An established record of completing relevant qualifications, such as RMA/NVQ 4 in Leadership + Management or ILM Level 5
  • Excellent working knowledge of children's homes national minimum standards
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure

Salary: £45,000-£65,000 per annum
