Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in need of support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks, ensuring the well-being and dignity of clients.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, promoting independence and safety.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Administer or remind clients about medication as per care plans, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive relationship with clients and their families.
  • Undertake household duties, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Assist clients with shopping, attending appointments, and running errands, promoting independence and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on care provided, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Work collaboratively with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Must be female (as per client's care needs).
  • Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
  • A caring, compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Prior experience in domiciliary care.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
Compensation:

£12 per hour for weekdays and £13 per hour for weekends.
