We are seeking an experienced Fashion Communications Specialist and PR Manager to join our team in London. As a key player in protecting and balancing our brand narrative, you will contribute to added customer value, a strong brand image, and increased fashion perception through high-quality Media Relations and PR & Communications activities.

About You:

">

You have a formal education and/or at least 5 years of working experience in similar roles. Your strategic mindset, planning, and prioritizing skills are essential for success in this position. Excellent communication skills, fluency in Microsoft Office, and proven experience in media relations and PR are also required.

Responsibilities:

">

As a Fashion Communications Specialist and PR Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Media Relations and PR & Communications Activities:">
  • You will monitor and respond to local media enquiries.">
  • Build trust and develop H&M's local media picture together with colleagues and proactively pitch news with a focus on H&M's fashion-related stories.">
  • Manage local reactive media relations and ensure global communications and media policies are followed locally.">
  • Support with media training of spokespeople.">
  • Develop and maintain your network with key media and other stakeholders in the UKIEmarket.">
  • Responsible for adapting and quality-proofing press releases, including creating local press releases when relevant.">
  • Collaborate with the local customer service team in local communications on social media.">
  • Monitor Media Relations inbox alongside the PR & Comms team and alert Comms Lead and Corporate Communications Specialist when needed.">
  • Support Sales Market Communications activities within areas connected to fashion-related projects.">

Fashion PR:

">

You will take ownership of fashion PR stories, from strategic input to pitching news stories and lead Showroom Coordinators across all fashion projects. You will find interesting news angles and hooks to ensure H&M retains a strong brand presence in key media outlets. You will also lead and execute local fashion events to a high standard, with support from colleagues, working with external agencies and the Global team.

Networking & Relationship Building:

You will build a network of H&M ambassadors through maintaining and building strong local relationships with media, influencers, celebrities, and opinion leaders. You will act as a H&M brand ambassador and build a strong local network through long-term relationships with media and key internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
