Residential Children's Home Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Practitioner to join our team at The Pleiadian Group. As a Residential Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical, social, and emotional care and development of the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Residential Childcare Practitioners to provide a comprehensive residential service to children and young people.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of the young people in our care.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of each young person.
  • Work closely with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the home.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience of managing within a similar setting - EBD Children's Home.
  • A full clean driving licence.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted guidelines and regulations.
