Research and Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Manager to join our team at Games Workshop Limited. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive innovation and improve our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals
  • Collaborate with senior management to define project roadmaps and ensure timely delivery
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to cost, and quality, while keeping an eye on overall business objectives
  • Create initiation documents and reports for each technical project, ensuring a clearly documented plan for each improvement stage

Requirements

  • Technical background with an in-depth understanding of manufacturing
  • Excellent people skills to collaborate with senior management and team members
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and identify emerging trends and technologies
  • Excellent presentation skills to ensure internal and external buy-in
