We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Economist to join our team at Economic Research Services. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading on and contributing to the preparation of high-quality proposals for new contracts and attending pitches to present our offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement research tools, such as surveys, to gather data and insights.
- Conduct fieldwork, including interviews, focus groups, and observations, to gather primary data.
- Write comprehensive reports with robust and insightful conclusions.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients and research consultees.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Requirements:
- A degree-level qualification in economics or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
- A positive attitude to team working and a willingness to progress and develop.
- A creative and curious mindset, with the ability to problem-solve and overcome challenges.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £22,000 - £32,000 per annum FTE (plus bonus).
