About Us

Forest Carbon Ltd is a well-established business helping to finance nature-based solutions across the UK. We were founded in 2006, on the premise that the UK needed to increase woodland cover and get more trees in the ground. By opening the door to private finance, we have unlocked more than 250 woodland creation projects, enabled the planting of over ten million trees, and put the very first projects through both the Woodland Carbon Code and the Peatland Code.

We are working on an increasing number of consultancy-based projects, helping to design and deliver nature-based solutions to climate change and biodiversity loss. The UK's voluntary carbon market has grown rapidly in the last couple of years, and there is a huge amount of interest in natural climate solutions like woodland creation and peatland restoration.

We're looking for a full-time Junior Project Manager to join the team. We are open to hybrid working. We would however expect the successful candidate to be able to work out of our office in central Edinburgh at least 3 days a week.
