Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at Gregory. As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to customers using a curtain-sided vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring load security.
  • Delivering and collecting goods to customers.
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Completing daily vehicle checks using a handheld PDA.
  • Communicating with the transport team to manage customer expectations.
  • Attending regular training sessions.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be a confident, polite, and team-oriented individual.
  • Have good geographical knowledge.
  • Be physically fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
