About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Abel & Cole. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with senior management and operational teams to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and regulations, and ensure the organization remains compliant.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
