About the Role

Abel & Cole is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to promote a positive safety culture and ensure the implementation of best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of their health and safety responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
