Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with senior management and operational teams to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and regulations, and ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
