Reservations and Groups Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations and Groups Supervisor to join our team at Hyatt Place London City East. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for directing the activities of the Reservations Department and overseeing the planning of groups, transient reservations, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise conversion of all direct booking enquiries through electronic or voice channels.
- Maintain procedures for security of credit and financial transactions, guest security/data protection.
- Use company and Hyatt tools and systems to maximise revenue.
- Assist with developing plans to increase occupancy and ADR.
- Support the Cluster Revenue Manager in implementing revenue strategies via revenue systems on a daily basis.
- Understand hotel profitability and evaluate business from local accounts and groups to provide input to future rate setting and negotiation.
- Manage all offline channels and rate parity issues.
- Manage contracting relating to direct Group sales.
- Manage incoming reservation enquiries and secure business in line with agreed strategies, booking policies, and procedures.
