Reservations and Groups Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations and Groups Supervisor to join our team at Hyatt Place London City East. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for directing the activities of the Reservations Department and overseeing the planning of groups, transient reservations, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise conversion of all direct booking enquiries through electronic or voice channels.
- Maintain procedures for security of credit and financial transactions, guest security/data protection.
- Use company and Hyatt tools and systems to maximise revenue.
- Assist with developing plans to increase occupancy and ADR.
- Support the Cluster Revenue Manager in implementing revenue strategies via use of revenue systems on a daily basis.
- Understand the composition of hotel profitability and use this to evaluate business from local accounts and groups.
- Manage all offline channels and any rate parity issues.
- Manage contracting relating to direct Group sales.
- Manage incoming reservation enquiries and secure business in line with agreed strategies, booking policies and procedures.
