Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team at Wavin UK, an Orbia business. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and scheduling of production processes to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Short and Long-Term Planning: Develop and implement short and long-term production plans to optimize product availability and meet customer expectations.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs, reduce inventory levels, and improve delivery times.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 7 direct subordinates to achieve production planning and scheduling goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, purchasing, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Identify and resolve production planning and scheduling issues, and analyze data to optimize processes and improve performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum A levels; Degree educated in a relevant business discipline (Logistics, MBA) is desirable.
  • Experience: 3 years' experience in production and material planning in a big-scale production environment.
  • Skills: Good analytical skills, problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and manage projects under deadlines, tactical and operational planning knowledge, and experience with SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP, and Reporting & Analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office.
