Arca Resourcing Ltd is working on behalf of a rapidly growing engineering scale-up seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview
As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of their supply chain. You will be responsible for accurately forecasting customer demand, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize their supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for our products, incorporating historical data, market trends, and sales input.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, adjusting forecasts and safety stock parameters to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
- Manage demand planning processes to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of materials and finished goods.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years+ proven experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills.
