About the Role:

A clinical nurse assessor is required for a hybrid role, working with a diverse range of customers and conditions. As a nurse functional assessor, you will carry out assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a customer's condition.
  • Use clinical knowledge to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.
  • Work with a diverse range of cases, including mental health conditions, to deliver a quality and respectful service.
  • Manage caseloads efficiently to meet individual and team targets in a supportive environment.
