The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme and generous annual leave allowance.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Learning Director to lead on the planning and design phase of the training for our new major system roll out. The purpose of the role is to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to establish, develop, and manage the effective provision of a service user training journey, alongside the Programme Implementation Roadmap and Service Introduction Plan.

As a Digital Learning Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing high-quality, up-to-date, fit-for-purpose, and easy-to-follow end-user training materials using the appropriate format;
  • Commissioning the design and development of training materials from third-party suppliers, if required;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, business stakeholders, and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery and governance of all training to agreed scope, time, cost, and quality;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a subject that incorporates skills relevant to the post or equivalent professional skills, experience, and training;
  • Excellent presentation, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills (listening, verbal, and written);
  • Authoring and delivering original and engaging digital learning content, eLearning packages, and multimedia learning resources, including video;
  • Operational management experience of a Learning Management System/Virtual Learning Environment or other online delivery system for digital learning;
  • Creative and practical approach to the visual design and content development of training materials to maximise learner engagement and impact;
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the design, development, and evaluation of online learning resources, including instructional design principles;
  • Ability to work on multiple learning projects, championing learner-centred thinking;
