Medical Neuropathology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Neuropathology Specialist to join our team at Kings College Hospital. As a key member of our Department of Clinical Neuropathology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services and leading a team of professionals in the field of neuropathology.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in neuropathology, with extensive experience in all aspects of the field. You will be expected to work closely with other consultants and medical staff to provide exceptional patient care and develop new strategies for improving our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert diagnostic services in neuropathology
- Lead a team of professionals in the department
- Develop and implement new strategies for improving services
- Collaborate with other consultants and medical staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A registerable basic medical qualification such as MBBS or equivalent
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or European Board of Neuropathology or equivalent qualification
- Full Registration with GMC and Name on GMC Specialist Register on date of taking up appointment
- Wide experience in all aspects of Neuropathology, culminating in award of Certificate of Completion of Training by GMC, or award of Certificate of Eligibility for Specialty Registration (CESR) by GMC
Kings College Hospital offers a competitive salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, plus benefits including a pension scheme, life assurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
