Neuropathology Specialist

The Kings College Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Neuropathology Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Department of Clinical Neuropathology, this specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services and contributing to the development of teaching and research initiatives.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of neuropathology and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide first-class clinical services and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Sustain and develop teaching and research programs in conjunction with King's College London/KHP.
- Undertake work in accordance with the Trust's procedures and operating policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of business plans and development strategies.
The ideal candidate will hold a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent qualification and be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum.
Requirements- Registerable basic medical qualification such as MBBS or equivalent.
- Final FRCPath or equivalent.
- Other higher degree or diploma.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in day-to-day organisation of diagnostic laboratory services.
