JMK Group is seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead the development of our hotel projects across the UK and Ireland. This pivotal role involves direct leadership, financial oversight, and stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Construction Director/Senior Project Manager/Senior Contracts Manager or Senior Cost Manager in the commercial/property construction sector, with a strong track record in delivering large-scale hotels or aparthotel projects.

We offer a competitive salary range of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.

Job Description:

  • Lead and manage project development, including monitoring, reporting, financial transactions, and performance from conception to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion of the project.
  • Establish relationships and maintain communication with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and manage project risks and ensure mitigation plans are developed and implemented.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the commercial/property construction sector.
  • Degree or third-level qualification in Construction/Property Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in stakeholder management.

This is a permanent position based in the UK, with regular travel required around the UK, including Belfast. We are open to conversations with self-employed Construction directors who can deliver the full lifecycle of our new hotel projects.
