The Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our Responsive Maintenance division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reactive maintenance services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the work scheduling process to ensure high-quality service delivery in accordance with company procedures and standards.
  • Represent Wates at client and resident performance meetings as requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Lead the responsive repairs function to ensure consistent performance against targets.
  • Effectively manage material costs and ensure that all team members are following correct processes and procedures.
  • Monitor the quality of work through inspection, inspection reports, analysis of key performance indicators, and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Lead, manage, and contribute to the development of your team, determining optimum employment levels to comply with the provision of the service.

Requirements

You must have a full UK driving licence and excellent communication skills. Prior responsive maintenance experience is crucial to the role, and you must also have your SSSTS qualification as a minimum.
