Job Title: Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Location: Croydon

Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 plus van and fuel card

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Operations Supervisor at Howells Solutions Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our social housing units. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors in responding to reactive maintenance requests, inspect properties to identify repair and maintenance needs, and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on housing-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors in responding to reactive maintenance requests.
  2. Inspect properties to identify repair and maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on housing-related matters.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  5. Provide regular reports and updates to management regarding the status of maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in social housing or property maintenance, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and renovation.
  3. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  4. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer applications.
  5. Understanding of health and safety regulations in housing maintenance.
  6. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
