Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo. As a Senior HVAC Detail Design Engineer, you will play a key role in carrying out detailed engineering design activities, working closely with cross-functional teams on a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce HVAC marine drawing deliverables to required standards and within budget/schedule.
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models to meet required standards.
  • Utilize 3D models to generate 2D production output deliverables.
  • Support the development of system design, specifications, manuals, and design substantiation.
  • Liaise with other disciplines, including electrical, transversals, structural, outfit, etc.

Requirements:

  • NC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/HVAC discipline subject.
  • Apprenticeship in relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity with shipbuilding/ship repair terminology and practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of one or more parametric/spec driven CAD system, including FORAN.
