Job Title: HVAC Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Specialist to join our team at Expleo. As an HVAC Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for marine projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop HVAC systems for marine projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with other marine systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and evaluate HVAC systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in HVAC design and engineering.
Requirements:
  • NC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/HVAC discipline subject.
  • Apprenticeship in relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity with shipbuilding/ship repair terminology and practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of one or more parametric/spec driven CAD system, including FORAN.
  • Experience in Design working on Naval or Commercial Marine projects, preferably naval shipbuilding projects or similar.
